The Michael Jackson memorial will feature Oscar-winner AND former American Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson. Hudson has made few public appearances since THE murder of several in her family.

Jackson's memorial is promised TO be a somber affair, according TO producers.

Celebrities who have BEEN announced as paying their respects TO Michael Jackson include: Motown founder Berry Gordy, THE Rev. Al Sharpton, Jackson family friend Ron Boyd, Kobe Bryant, Brooke Shields, Martin Luther King III AND Magic Johnson.

Musical guests also include Michael Jackson’s We are THE World co-writer Lionel Richie AND Motown legend Smokey Robinson.
